NevaCamp 2009 | Future Web is an international BarCamp conference on the future of the Internet, Media, Social Services, and augmented reality. Here you will have a chance see cutting-edge technologies and estimate the potential of the future Internet.

NevaCamp 2009 | Future Web is held for the first time in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg during the White Nights - 26-28 June. More than 400 New Media experts, startup owners, innovators, investors, business people, professionals, developers from Russia, CIS, Baltic States, Europe, the United States and Central Asia, representatives of  Russian and foreign companies, venture funds, and business community will get together at the same place.

Purposes of the event: encourage development of the new Internet and media projects; discuss and define promising trends of the future Internet development; facilitate experiences and knowledge sharing; create a favorable environment for joint projects, including international ones; create a favorable investment climate for technology startups.

NevaCamp 2009 | Future Web is a three-day event where guests and young professionals will make presentations, take part in brainstorms, roundtables and panels. StartupVision contest – a contest of startup projects creative presentations will take place as a part of the event.

Closing Party

Yeah, dear Barcampers, Barcamp Caspian 09 is over! The last event of Barcamp Caspian, Closing Party has taken place at a friendly place called Elclub and we all had great pleasure at the party. Yeah, guys, it was nice to see you again.

Well, it was pleasure for us to host you here in Baku and we do hope to host you at our beautiful, friendly country next year, as well! We would like to thank to everyone, to our sponsors, to our attenders for making Barcamp happen!

Barcamp Caspian 09 is almost over! The last event of Barcamp Caspian, as everyone guessed, is Closing Party. Make sure you come to the party to see your Barcamp Caspian friends for the last time before the event is over.

The party is going to be at a club called ELCLUB which is located in next to Almali market which is opposite to ABU ARENA. Tickets have been paid for by Barcamp Caspian Team. However, you will have to pay for the drinks and snacks.

Azerbaijan will switch to summer time, by adjusting clocks one hour forward at 04.00 am on March 29.

Under a government decision dated 1997, Azerbaijan moves to daylight saving time from the last Sunday in March.
Summer time will last until the last Sunday of October, when clocks are turned back one hour.
